Muscles Work As Chains Not In Isolation.

Muscles rarely work in isolation, as they are intricately connected in chains throughout the body. Just like when we swing the opposite arm to leg while walking or running, treating someone's pain requires addressing the entire chain of muscles involved. When an injury occurs, it is often a result of dysfunction or compensation along one of these interconnected chains. Other postural imbalances stem from the imbalances between these chains and lines. For example, if we frequently hunch over, the deep frontal line becomes short while the superficial back line becomes long. Similarly, if one leg is longer than the other, one of the slings becomes short while the other becomes long. By only treating the isolated muscle or area, we neglect the complexity of the body. It's like going to a nail salon and having only one nail painted - you'd definitely want your money back! The same principle applies to your physio appointment; it's time to expect more from your healthcare. The current status quo simply isn't good enough.

1.) Superficial back line
2.) Deep frontal line
3.) Spiral Line
4.) Anterior & posterior slings (functional lines)
